How to Fish Collector Achievement: Complete All 49 Creatures

How do you unlock Collector?

Find and kill all 49 creatures recorded by the encyclopedia. Press Tab to see missing entries, finish the story to expose every required boss, then clear the remaining lure pools methodically. Only 6.6% of players had Collector when global figures were checked on September 1, 2026.

What is the fastest checklist method?

1. Complete all five islands and their required bosses.
2. Open Tab and record every blank normal entry.
3. Group the gaps by the lure that catches them.
4. Fish one lure pool until all its missing creatures have been killed.
5. Check every optional Boss Lure before spending time repeating common casts.
6. Confirm the achievement before starting the much longer Drip grind.

The Steam guide warns that the last missing entry is often an expensive optional miniboss, including the creature summoned by the Scientific Boss Lure. Keep an endgame cash reserve for these summons; the money guide and cooking guide can fund the cleanup.

Do creatures depend on island or lure?

The community route was corrected to say that ordinary catches are determined by the equipped lure, not the island where you cast. Mobalytics also organizes the roster around lure requirements. Story bosses and shop access still follow progression, so this does not mean every one of the 49 can be completed at the beginning.

Why is Collector stuck at 48 of 49?

• An optional mini-boss lure was never used.
• A creature was caught but not killed.
• A story trophy was handed over without its creature entry recording.
• The wrong lure pool is being repeated because the gap was guessed instead of checked in Tab.
